I believe a teacher with a sense of humor will have less classroom management issues than a teacher who looks like the grumpy cat. Meme's are a powerful tool for teaching argument. You can find meme's already made or you can use a meme generator to create your own. 1. Meme's for introducing a concept One of the biggest challenges I have faced this year is to make students excited about a new topic. If you can introduce the topic in a way that students will get hooked, students will more likely participate and engage in the content. Introducing a topic with the help of memes is an effective way to grab the attention of your class. The main aim of using memes as concept introductory tools is to help students see the funny side of things and put them in a good mood so that they are attentive and eager to learn in class. 2. Memes as tool for Analysis Homework has been used as a tool for students to summarize their analysis. Teachers will then assess the level of understanding based on what the student submitted. You don’t have to be Einstein to realize that students dread homework and most of the time copy off of their classmates. I have discovered that creating memes can make homework fun and interesting for my students. Memes allow students to display what they have learned in a creative and imaginative way. 4. Memes for classroom rules
Every teacher likes to define a set of rules for students to follow in the classroom and depending upon how the teacher introduces these rules, students get to know a thing or two about the teacher. According to me, the coolest way to lay out the classroom rules is through memes that reflect your personality as a teacher. You can let students know you are a strict teacher with posting these meme's in the classroom.
